The aim of World Aspergillosis Day is to raise awareness of a fungal infection that is often underdiagnosed, like many other fungal infections worldwide. This talk by Dr Graham Atherton introduces the 2023 seminar series and speakers.
World Aspergillosis Day is celebrated on February 1st each year in the UK. The day was created by patients at the National Aspergillosis Centre in Manchester.
World Aspergillosis Day aims to raise awareness of aspergillosis, a fungal infection that is often underdiagnosed.
It also aims to educate the public on the signs and symptoms of aspergillosis.
