Too lazy to read a book? Listen instead

Post by auntiebi0tics »

If you are like me and cant get to a local library or find the print in most books too small. Listen to them instead.

1. Online Libraries
I found out a few years ago that some councils have online libraries where you can borrow up to six audiobooks in one go. You simply download to your computer or phone
Example of Online Libraries

2. Youtube
Youtube have many audiobooks you can listen to you just need to search. There are many versions of my favourite: "The Fellowship of the Rings" available

3. Amazon Prime
If you are a member of Amazon Prime you can access many books for £0 otherwise you can sign up to audible at £7 or 8 a month

4. Google Play
There are many many apps you can download to your phone (free) that will read books for you
These apps will also read documents. I find that very handy.

Finally
If you like the English Classics, Charles Dickens, Bronte, George Elliot etc there are literally hundreds if not thousands of free books at Gutenberg press Once you have a free app on your phone just download and listen! Free Gutenberg books
PS: You can read if you want to!
Let me know if you find this useful
Feel free to add anything else
“I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.
"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”
